Product Description

Roast: Light

Certification: Organic

Flavor Profile: Medium body with bright citrus and sweet apricot notes, with a smooth finish.

Espresso is not just a roast or a bean color. It is a carefully thought out formulation of coffees roasted to present a perfect balance when brewed in an intensely concentrated manner. Our Espresso Suave is a replication of the rich, intense, and sweet espressos found in Northern Italy, where I spent some time learning the craft of blending and roasting espresso in the Northern Italian profile. It is roasted delicately to develop a distinct sweetness while having depth and body to stand up to milk in lattes and cappuccinos. We use 100% organic coffees from Honduras, Mexico, Indonesia, and one secret origin to create this distinct blend. This blend is turned into delicious espresso through the craftsmanship of managing the roast profile to assure that the flavors are developed slowly and to complement each other. In the end, the careful roasting gives this blend a BRIGHT and INTENSE flavor with a SMOOTH finish.

  1. Good coffee but expemsive. 3 Star Review

This coffee is OK. Not the best but it is organic and light roast. Most espresso beans out there are roasted too dark and are too bitter. Mayorga's Suave is excellent to mix with other espresso beans to tone down the bitterness. It produces a nice crema too. I only wished it were more reasonably priced.

  2. MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE!! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 7th Oct 2015

Since the first time I tasted Mayorga's Espresso Suave I've been hooked. It is smooth, luscious, and creamy with subtle carmel notes. Try as I might, I haven't found anything I like better.

Hey Mayorga! How about setting up a coffee subscription service so I never have to worry about running out of Espresso Suave!

  3. All Time Favorite!! 5 Star Review

I fell in love with Espresso Suave the first time I drank it and I haven't been happy with anything else since. I wish Mayorga would bring back the decaf version so I could drink it as anytime I wanted!

  4. Rich tasting coffee 5 Star Review

A barista (not connected to this coffee) recently cautioned me against assuming that super dark roasts were the only way to get the deep flavor I like. So when espresso suave was recommended to me I decided to give it a try. Wow! So glad I did. Mellow, full flavor and not burnt. I love it. This will be my go-to coffee.

  5. This is the best espresso 5 Star Review

I find most espresso tastes burnt from over-roasting. This doesn't but it has plenty of flavor. It tastes good without adding milk, but also stands up to being prepared as a latte. My favorite by a wide margin.

  6. My absolute favorite 5 Star Review

Espresso Suave was the reason I became a coffee aficionado, bought a home roaster, Italian espresso machine and worked on mastering microfroth. It has been my standard of excellence. I roasted, mixed beans from around the world to imitate it's perfect full bodied flavor, never bitter or burnt tasting. After my quest, buying Mayorga E Suave is just plain easier. Full circle back to that first amazing cup.

The coffee was very mild, very good. The only bad thing was that I had to wait so long for the mail to deliver it.

  8. Yum! 5 Star Review

I sampled and bought a bag of the Mocha Java at Costco in Gaithesburg, MD and took it with me back down south. It is absolutely hands down my favorite cup of coffeee EVER. I am a serious, try anything, 4+ cups a day, coffee lover and bean/roast is my fave. Thanks!

  9. Amazing flavor from a lighter roast! 4 Star Review

Posted by on 2nd Jun 2011

I was skeptical when ordering at Mayorga; I've tried many "local roasters" and it seems they're staff either don't know how to time a shot or the automated machine leaves flavor wanting. However, this roast was love at "first sip" for me! Bright and smooth is how I would describe, but the flavor hugs your pallette and all with NO bitterness in its finish, something rare to find from an espresso roast. Enjoy
